New Dunkin' coming to Staunton on Greenville Avenue

STAUNTON — No word if Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Tom Brady will be on hand for the grand opening, but a new Dunkin' is coming to Staunton.

Julia Voutour of Alliance Marketing Partners confirmed that Dunkin' will open a second Staunton location of the restaurant chain known for its coffee, doughnuts and breakfast sandwiches. The new restaurant, franchised by Atul Patel, will be located at 704 Greenville Avenue at the site of a former Wendy's that has recently been torn down.

"The restaurant is officially under construction," Voutour told The News Leader. "Atul has demolished the entire Wendy’s facility and is going to deliver a fresh and innovative next generation Dunkin’ to the community."

She said it will be in addition to Patel's Dunkin’ / Baskin-Robbins combo store at 1028 Richmond Ave. in Staunton.

Patel's plan is to open the new Staunton location by the "end of summer 2024," according to Voutour.

Patel franchised the Waynesboro Dunkin' that opened in 2021, an example of the "next generation" design. The new Staunton location will be the Patel's 11th Dunkin’ throughout the Shenandoah Valley, according to Voutour. He just opened his newly remodeled location on University Boulevard in Harrisonburg Monday.

Dunkin’ is the world’s leading baked goods and coffee chain, serving more than three million customers each day. The chain offers more than 50 varieties of donuts and dozens of premium beverages.
