'This duo would beat any duo': Metta Sandiford-Artest, Ben Wallace reunite 17 years after Malice at the Palace
There aren't any hard feelings between Metta Sandiford-Artest (formerly Ron Artest) and Ben Wallace.
Seventeen years after the pair were two of the key players involved in the Malice at the Palace, they took photos together at a Lakers and Pistons game.

Sandiford-Artest posted the photo on Instagram with the caption, "This duo would beat any duo. Ruled the 2000’s on defense. It’s not debatable."
Sandiford-Artest spoke about his relationship with Wallace on Chris Haynes' podcast earlier in November.
“He’s cool with me. I don’t have an issue with him, except that he was in the way of my trophies,” Sandiford-Artest said. “I was trying to get Defensive Player of the Year and MVP. I felt like that was going to be my second (DPOY) in a row, then I got suspended. Ben took that one. I love Ben because he’s a great defender.”
Twitter reacted to the reunion.
Honestly I’d never thought I’d see the day Ben Wallace and Ron Artest chilllin together at a Lakers game 😂 https://t.co/4tivQb1kv9
