Durham Tech clears bomb threat but main campus remains closed

The Durham Police Department cleared a bomb threat at the main campus of Durham Tech Community College on Thursday afternoon.

No suspicious items were found during a thorough search of the campus, the college said on social media.

Its main campus will remain closed for the rest of the day. Information on Friday campus operations will be released later by the college.

The main campus of Durham Tech Community College was evacuated before noon on Thursday due to the threat, the college confirmed Thursday.
