Dust Devil Swirls in Wichita Mountains After Forestry Service's Controlled Burn

A man who was driving in the Wichita Mountains in Oklahoma on January 8 said he was lucky to be in the right spot to see an impressive dust devil swirling.

Oklahoma Forestry Services said they were performing some controlled burns that day.

“Not much wind or weather,” Kyle Henderson told Storyful, “but just happened to be lucky and in the right spot driving by.”

On Facebook, Henderson wrote, “Took the kids to the mountains today. Caught this little gem on the way out.” Credit: Kyle Henderson via Storyful
