Dutch Bros. Coffee opens first location in Orange County

Dutch Bros. Coffee, the popular coffee chain that originated in Oregon, opened its first location in Orange County on Friday.

The newest location is at 17954 Magnolia St. in Fountain Valley and is the first of two locations planned for the region. The second location is expected to open in La Habra.

Panda Express to add fan-favorite item back to menus nationwide

Dutch Bros, founded by brothers Dane and Travis Boersma in 1992, features an extensive menu of espresso, blended coffee, smoothies, iced teas, lattes, standard coffee drinks and more.

Menu items like the Caramelizer, a drink featuring espresso, chocolate milk, caramel sauce and whipped cream, and the Double Torture, featuring a double shot of espresso laced with vanilla syrup, chocolate milk and whipped cream, helped propel the Dutch Bros into a multimillion-dollar public company.

In addition to its expansive menu, Dutch Bro baristas, known as “bro-istas,” are known for their friendly disposition. In the past, employees have remembered customers’ preferences, inquired about family members and even gave out free drinks to customers going through a difficult situation, the Orange County Register reported.

The new Orange County location will be open Sunday through Thursday from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
