Dutch Bros opening first Kentucky location with special priced coffee
Kentucky, are you ready to try Dutch Bros Coffee? The Oregon-based chain, known for its passionate fans and upbeat “broistas,” is opening its first location in the state on Sept. 5 in Lexington.
The new spot at 234 E. New Circle Rd., in a former northside Sonic restaurant, also will have a grand opening on Sept. 7.
Coleman Davis, the regional operator of Dutch Bros for Lexington and Richmond, said the company is “super excited to be here and make a difference and put smiles on people’s faces.”
For grand opening day, Davis said, all medium drinks will be a special price of $3 for the entire day.
Dutch Bros giving back to the community
And Sept. 15 will be Buck for Kids Day; Dutch Bros will donate $1 from every cups old to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Bluegrass, Davis said.
“We are a people company first and a coffee company second,” Davis said. “Dutch Bros is a drive-thru coffee company dedicated to making a massive difference one cup at a time.”
What’s on the Dutch Bros Coffee menu? Is there indoor seating?
The location will have a drive-thru and a walk-up window where customers can place and pick up orders. There is no indoor seating.
Besides hot coffee drinks, Dutch Bros’ menu has a full line of iced coffee drinks, Rebel energy drinks, smoothies, sodas, chai, teas and cocoa. You can also get a Dutch Freeze blended flavored ice coffee, or Dutch Frost, their version of classic shakes.
A second Dutch Bros location will be opening at the end of September in Richmond on the Eastern Bypass. More Lexington locations also are expected.
