"If you are spreading and yelling and screaming, you are spreading tens of thousands of particles which contain coronavirus and if I take out the moisture from the coronavirus, I will have the basic coronavirus by itself and therefore it can be recognized as such."
Van Wees aims for an accuracy of over 80%
He sees the device as a potentially useful screening tool
outside concerts, airports, schools and offices
