Lindsay Clancy, 32, is being held without bail at Tewksbury State Hospital, where the arraignment will be held on Thursday, Oct. 26.

She is charged with three counts each of murder and strangulation, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz said.

Duxbury police responded to a 911 call on Jan. 24 that reported that a woman living on Summer Street jumped from a window in a suspected suicide attempt. First responders found Clancy on the ground outside the home.

Her three children were then found in the home's basement, all unconscious and showing signs of severe trauma.

Clancy was rendered a paraplegic after jumping from a window, her attorney, Kevin Reddington, said.

Unsealed document show Clancy's state of mind in lead-up to murder

Nearly 300 pages of documents released on Tuesday include 11 search warrants that were previously kept confidential, according to WCVB. The warrants sought access to collect exercise bands, medications, phones, computers, notebooks, cameras, a bloody knife and other physical evidence from inside the Clancy home. Wood shingles from the exterior of the family's home were also collected.

Clancy's notebooks contained documentation of her medications and thoughts of suicide, according to the documents. There's also mention that she used her phone to document her mental state and research ways to kill.

Cora and Dawson Clancy, ages 5 and 3, were taken to Beth Israel Deaconess in Plymouth and pronounced dead. Eight-month-old Callan Clancy was flown to Boston Children's Hospital, where he died several days later.

The chief medical examiner said the children died from asphyxia. Exercise bands were used to strangle the children, authorities said.

Reddington, said in May that Clancy suffers from postpartum depression and was overmedicated at the time.

Clancy was a nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital.
