Former Washington Football Team quarterback Dwayne Haskins is being hosted on another free-agent visit this week, heading to Pittsburgh to meet with the Steelers about potentially becoming a part of their roster.

Haskins, a former first-round pick, was released by Washington on December 28th, and will likely have a long road ahead of him before finding a starting job in the NFL once again. However, if there is a team that could use a backup player with a decent upside, the Stellers fit the bill. With future Hall of Famer Ben Roethlisberger still at the helm, Pittsburgh is set for another year or two, but if Haskins can wait in the wing and develop in a backup role, then it’s reasonable to believe that he could be the next successor for the Steelers.

This is the second free-agent meeting that Haskins has had since being released, as he first met with the Carolina Panthers earlier in the year.
