Doughnut production is hopefully resuming Thursday at E.Z. Orchards Farm Market.

After a car crashed into the building Monday morning, a wall and section of production area was "wiped out," including cabinets, sinks and plumbing. Due to the damage, doughnut production was paused.

Co-owner John Zielinski said he hopes to resume doughnut production by the end of the week, at the latest. He is waiting for an electrician to hook power back up to the building before he can resume.

He said he is also in the midst of coordinating construction to repair the building.

E.Z. Orchards Farm Market opened in 1992 and is known for the fresh donuts they began making in 1996.
