What will the update do for the company?

The new equipment, said Swihart, will help the company to stay competitive in the market by keeping the manufacturer efficient and increasing its capacity to produce the orders.

Swihart noted the number of orders has increased over the last couple of years due to the expansion of the dealerships network.

The expansion project encompasses an array of enhancements, including the addition of welding tables, a cutting-edge paint booth, cobot technology, a press brake, forklifts, a burn table, as well as a number of facility upgrades and other investments.

Eagle Crusher: Its past and present

The update is not the first of its kinds for the company. In 1994, it introduced its own line of advanced crushers that feature a unique, solid steel, three-bar rotor, setting a new industry standard and catering specifically to the recycling market.

The company offers a comprehensive range of crushing and screening plants and systems tailored for the most demanding applications, including processing concrete embedded with the resilient high-volume steel rebar.

Eagle Crusher, which was founded in 1915 in Kenton, began as a manufacturer of small crushers that were fitted to farm tractors. The company relocated to Galion from Kenton in 1952 and later established its Bucyrus manufacturing facility.

It now has facilities in Bucyrus and Galion, as well as in Aurora, Indiana, and it specializes in the manufacture of heavy duty, portable crushing plants, horizontal shaft impactors, jaw crushers, hammermills and conveyors designed for aggregates, asphalt, and recycled concrete.
