Eagle Harbor to serve up 11th annual charity doubles tennis tournament
Eagle Harbor Tennis Community once again pledges its support to fight cancer by hosting its 11th annual Tennis4Cancer Men’s and Women’s Doubles Championships. The tournament, put on by dedicated Eagle Harbor residents and volunteers, attracts players from around the Northeast Florida area. Corporate and individual sponsors generously donate to make the event possible. The tournament welcomes back returning Title Sponsor, Vystar Credit Union
The tournament benefits the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge of Jacksonville and the Rotary Club of Orange Park Sunrise Charities. The tournament raised $53,277 at last year’s event and has donated $336,027 total over its 11-year history.
The tournament still has a few spots open in some divisions. Registration information can be found on the tournament website at: www.tennis4cancer.org.
The tournament fee includes player gift, prizes, raffles, food, drinks, Friday night Kickoff Social, and a Player’s Party Saturday evening.
