Eagles add second Nashville show to 2022 'Hotel California' tour
Update Jan. 18: The Eagles added a second Nashville show, April 29 at Bridgestone Arena, to this year's "Hotel California" tour. The band now plays April 28-29 at the downtown venue. Tickets to the second show go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. via bridgestonearena.com.

The band brings its 2022 "Hotel California" tour to Bridgestone Arena on April 28, a Thursday night. Tickets go on sale Jan. 14 at 10 a.m. via bridgestonearena.com or eagles.com.
The show promises to deliver a start-to-finish performance of the beloved 1976 album that shares a name with the tour. "Hotel California" gifted classic rock devotees staple cuts such as "Life In The Fast Lane," "Victim Of Love" and, of course, the title track.

An orchestra and choir joins the Eagles for each "Hotel California" performance, according to a news release. After performing the album, the band plays a set of non-"California" hits, the release said.
And fans can expect to see one of Nashville's own on stage when the Eagles play Bridgestone. Country Music Hall of Famer Vince Gill continues to tour with the band, a position he adopted in 2017, roughly a year after co-founding member Glenn Frey died. The band last stopped at Bridgestone Arena in March 2018 for two-night run.

The Eagles tour in 2022 with include Gill joining Don Henley, Timothy B. Schmit and Joe Walsh. Glenn's son, Deacon, toured with The Eagles for more than four years following the death of his father in 2016, but it was recently announced he will not be on upcoming dates with the band.
The 2022 "Hotel California" tour kicks off next month in Savannah, Georgia, with 20-plus shows running through May. Additional dates include the United Center in Chicago, State Farm Arena in Atlanta and two nights at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas.
