The Eagles and Jaguars are set for an intriguing Sunday afternoon matchup in Philadelphia, and there could be a change in the running back depth chart.

During his Friday press conference, head coach Nick Sirianni confirmed that Boston Scott is still dealing with a rib injury and could be inactive, opening the door for Trey Sermon to see his first action of the season.

Sirianni also provided an update on A.J. Brown’s game status as well.

Brown has missed the entire week of practice due to personal reasons, and it’s been reported that the star wideout was expecting his second child.

Sirianni confirmed that Boston Scott would likely be out this Sunday, opening up the door for Trey Sermon to make his debut with the Birds.

Sermon was taken No. 88 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft out of Ohio State.

In nine appearances as a rookie, he rushed for 167 yards and a touchdown while catching three of his four targets for 26 yards.
