Yahoo Sports' Scott Pianowski explains why fantasy managers should start the Philadelphia defense vs. Washington in week 3.

SCOTT PIANOWSKI: So we do these weekly videos, and we call them conviction plays, and I'm going to give you a conviction play on the Eagles' defense. Why am I talking about a defense and special teams? Because of the Philadelphia schedule, OK? Good Week 1 win over Detroit. They controlled the game against Minnesota in Week 2. Look at the rest of the schedule. Right now, Philadelphia would be projected as a favorite for every game on their schedule. You can't say that about any other football team. They play so many weak opponents, and that's where defensive and special teams points come from, leverage, being ahead, winning games, teeing off in the fourth quarter. And if you want to play the Philadelphia defense, it's a short-term rental. They have Carson Wentz in Week 3. Wentz can put up some plays. He's put up yards and touchdowns for two weeks, but he'll also take sacks, he'll throw picks. I approve the Eagles defense for short-term or long-term fantasy use. Again, that schedule is an absolute daisy going forward.
