Eagles huge 'Hotel California' tour coming to Prudential Center in Newark
Break out the pink champagne on ice, the Eagles "Hotel California" 2023 Tour is coming to the Prudential Center in Newark on Friday, April 7.
Presale tickets go on sale starting at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 12. Prices have not been released. A limited number of VIP packages, including premium seats, exclusive merchandise, parking and more, will be available on the band's official site, Eagles.com.
Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit and Vince Gill are the group's current members. The concert will feature the Eagles' landmark album “Hotel California” performed in its entirety from start to finish, accompanied by an orchestra and choir. Afterward, the Eagles will perform a full set of their hits.
The Newark show is the band's only concert in the Northeast for this leg of the tour, which starts Sunday, Feb. 19, at the Moda Center in Portland, Ore., and ends at the Prudential Center. The tour stops in 11 U.S. cities (see concert dates below).

The Eagles “Hotel California” concerts began in 2019 in Las Vegas. The six-time Grammy Award-winning group has since played 77 sold-out shows across the country.
The 2023 Prudential Center date will be the band's first performance at the arena since 2018, and its fifth performance at the venue overall.

The Eagles formed in 1971 in Los Angeles. Member Joe Walsh, who joined in 1975, attended high school in Montclair.
Founding member Glenn Frey died in 2016. Gill has performed with the band since 2017.
