Eagles OL coach Jeff Stoutland could join Nick Saban’s staff at Alabama

The trickle-down impact from Doug Pederson parting ways with the Eagles will hit the offensive line hard after Bruce Feldman reported that Jeff Stoutland will depart Philadelphia to join Nick Saban’s staff at Alabama.

Under Stoutland, the Eagles consistently had one of the NFL’s top offensive line units and his reputation was cemented this season when Philadelphia landed still landed in the top-20 despite using 14 different combinations.

Stoutland joined the Eagles as the team’s offensive line coach in the 2013 offseason and was named the team’s run game coordinator during the 2018 offseason.

One of the most respected offensive line coaches at any level, Stoutland has 36 years of coaching experience, including stints at Miami (FL) (2007-10), Michigan State (2000-06), and Syracuse (1997-99).
