Eagles RB Jordan Howard could see a heavy workload in Week 8 vs. Lions

The Eagles will be without running back Miles Sanders for the next three weeks and that could result in a heavy workload in his season debut for veteran, Jordan Howard.

Howard is expected to be elevated for Week 8 against Detroit, as Philadephia currently only has Boston Scott and Kenneth Gainwell on the active roster.

Howard has taken work with the Eagles’ first-team offense this week and he could bring a much-needed physicality to an offensive unit looking for some balance while providing a battered defense some rest.
