The Eagles are coming to Fort Worth for the first time in .42 years.

The band, which features Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, and Vince Gill, has added a Nov. 22 date at Dickies Arena to its “Hotel California” 2022 tour.

They played Austin and Houston in May. The last time they played North Texas was two nights at American Airlines Center in Dallas on Setp. 20-21, 2021. They played AT&T Stadium in Arlington in June 2018, but that is the closest they’ve come to Fort Worth since two nights on Feb. 7-8, 1980 as part of the bands “The Long Run” tour. The band didn’t tour between 1981 and 1993.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. Presales begin at 10 a.m. Thursday. There are a limited number of VIP packages that include premium seats, exclusive merchandise, and parking, beginning Friday.

Their current tour feature’s the band performing its entire 1976 album “Hotel California,” which has sold more than 32 million copies. The only albums that sold more are Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and the Eagles’ “Their Greatest Hits (1971-75).”

The “Hotel California” songs will be accompanied by an orchestra and choir. After an intermission, the band will return to perform a full set of their greatest hits.

The Eagles started the current tour in 2019 and have played more than 60 sold-out shows, including four nights at the AAC, three nights at the Toyota Center in Houston and multiple dates in Austin.
