Eagles in sole possession of first place in NFC East after Cowboys 25-3 loss to Washington

In what can only be described as an amazing turn of events, the Philadelphia Eagles are now in sole possession of first place in the NFC East after the Cowboys disastrous 25-3 loss to the Washington Football Team on Sunday.

Per Five Thirty Eight, the Eagles now have a 62% chance to win the NFC East.

Eagles: 62%
Washington: 20%
Cowboys: 12%
Giants: 5%

Philadelphia came back from down 11 at home against the Giants to move to 2-4-1 on the season and they’ll host the embattled Dallas Cowboys next Sunday night at home on NBC’s ‘Sunday Night Football.’

Washington currently owns the division’s best point differential heading into their Week 8 bye and the Week 17 matchup at Lincoln Financial Field could be for the NFC East title.
