Early voting begins Wednesday, local races include Columbia mayor, vice mayor
Registered voters will get the first chance to cast their ballots this Wednesday as early voting kicks off for the upcoming Nov. 8 State and City General Election.
Early voting will run through Thursday, Nov. 3 and can be done at the Maury County Election Commission, 1207A Tradewinds Drive. Voting hours will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays.
Voters on Election Day will have to cast their votes at their respective precincts, which will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The 2022 General Election will include state and federal votes for Tennessee Governor and U.S. House District 5 well as races for the Tennessee House of Representatives in Districts 64 and 71.
On the local level, the Nov. 8 election will feature races for the next Columbia Mayor, Vice Mayor, as well as two seats on the Mt. Pleasant Commission.
