Early voting expands to eight Santa Fe County locations

Oct. 20—Eight early voting sites in Santa Fe County will open Saturday.

Early voting for the Nov. 7 local election began Oct. 10 at the County Clerk's Office, 100 Catron St. Starting Saturday, people can vote early at:

* Max Coll Corridor Community Center, 16 Avenida Torreon.

* Santa Fe Community College, 6401 Richards Ave.

* Christian Life Church, 121 Siringo Road.

* Santa Fe County Fair Building, 3329 Rodeo Road.

* Southside Branch Library, 6599 Jaguar Drive.

* Town of Edgewood Administration, 171A N.M. 344, Edgewood.

* Abedon Lopez Community Center, 155 Camino de Quintana, Española.

* Pojoaque Satellite Office, 5 W. Gutierrez Suite 9, Pojoaque Pueblo Plaza, 17839 U.S. 84/285, Pojoaque.

Early voting at the Clerk's Office runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through Nov. 3 as well as Saturday, Nov. 4. The other sites are open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays through Nov. 4.

People can register to vote before voting at any polling site if they bring a New Mexico driver's license or state identification card; a photo ID plus a document with the voter's address, like a utility bill; or a current student photo ID from a New Mexico higher educational institution plus a current student fee statement with the student's address.
