Early voting for June Primary begins Friday in Virginia

RICHMOND, Va. (WAVY) – Early voting for the June 18 primary election will begin on Friday, May 3 and continue through June 15.

In the primary, voters will choose Democratic and Republican candidates for the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.

You can vote early, in-person, at the general registrar’s office in the city/county where you are registered. You will need to bring an accepted form of identification with you.

You can search for your local office information on the Virginia Department of Elections’ website.

The City of Virginia Beach issued a news release stating that polls will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Voter Registrar’s Office, 2449 Princess Anne Road. There are two Saturday opportunities to vote early — on June 8 and June 15.
