Early voting for Ohio’s Aug. 2 primary begins Wednesday

Ohio voters will be able to start voting for the Aug. 2 primary on Wednesday, July 6.

The deadline to register for early voting is July 5. Registering can be done at the Board of Elections via paper form, online at their website, or at your local Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

Voters who don’t want to vote in person on Election Day can request an absentee ballot their local board of elections.

Montgomery County Board of Elections absentee ballots can be requested on their website or by calling 937-225-5656.

General Assembly candidates will be on the ballot, with winners moving on to November’s general election.
