The NBA All-Star 2024 Rewards Program gives fans the chance to earn prizes and points when they support local businesses. Here is everything you need to know about the program for the game taking place in Indianapolis on Feb. 18.
What is the NBA All-Star 2024 Rewards Program?
The NBA All-Star 2024 Rewards Program allows fans to earn instant prizes or points toward NBA All-Star 2024 tickets, merchandise and more. The program was announced in November in a press release and rewards fans for supporting local businesses in Indianapolis.
Why is the NBA doing this?
With the increased traffic and visitors to the state for the All-Star Game, the NBA wants to encourage sports fans to support local businesses and drive the local economy.
“We want every fan to experience the excitement of NBA All-Star 2024, and the NBA All-Star 2024 Rewards Program is a chance for everyone to win great prizes and be a part of this event while supporting the small businesses across the state,” said PS&E CEO Rick Fuson. “The impact of this event goes well beyond the basketball court, and we are proud to encourage fans to support so many of the wonderful local entrepreneurs we have here.”
How many businesses are participating in the NBA All-Star 2024 Rewards Program?
Over 300 Indianapolis businesses are registered and participating in the NBA All-Star 2024 Rewards Program.
“Since we tipped this program off in Chicago at NBA All-Star 2020, we have had nearly a thousand local businesses benefit and the program continues to grow,” said NBA Head of Global Event Strategy and Development Joey Graziano. “Indianapolis already has the most participating establishments of any NBA All-Star city, and we are excited about all the opportunities fans will have in the coming months to earn incredible prizes they can’t get anywhere else!”
How do I start earning points with the NBA app?
All you have to do to start earning points is to download the NBA Events App. In the app, you can access the map of all participating locations and you can then accumulate points by visiting the registered businesses and checking in through the Rewards section.
Can I still register my business for the NBA All-Star Rewards Program?
Submissions to join the NBA All-Star 2024 Rewards Program opened up in July 2023 so unfortunately you are unable to add your business to the list at this time.
