Here are the top three stories in St. Louis today:

  1. Today is Earth Day and the St. Louis County Parks Department will be celebrating! County Executive Dr. Sam Page will plant a tree at St. Vincent Park alongside students from St. Ann Catholic School. He'll be speaking on sustainability, and how the county can grow green jobs locally. (KMOV4)

  2. Mayor Tishaura Jones delivered her first State of the City address where she pledged $150 million for North St. Louis. Mayor Jones said that St. Louis is nearing major changes for the better. She spoke about growing up in North St. Louis, and how the city has changed throughout the years. The funds will primarily come from ARPA funding after the 2020 COVID-19 relief package.   3. Police are looking for suspects who reportedly robbed and assaulted two men outside a gas station Wednesday. Just before 9:30 p.m., the perpetrators approached the two men and told them they were being robbed. One of the men, a 68-year-old, was struck in the head during the robbery and suffered a minor injury, according to police. (KMOV4)
