Jan 18 (Reuters) - An earthquake of 6.2 magnitude struck off Clipperton Island in the Pacific Ocean on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The quake struck 688 kilometers east southeast of the uninhabited island in the eastern Pacific Ocean off the coast of Central America.
