Earthquake Causes Damage to Bridge in Northern California (Photo)

Authorities reported widespread damage to roads and homes in northern California on Tuesday morning, December 20, after a 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck the region.

This photo from Caltrans District 1 shows cracks on a bridge in Ferndale in Humboldt County. Route 211 would be closed for safety inspections, they said.
