East Baltimore man charged with attempted murder after Parkville shooting

An East Baltimore man has been charged with attempted first-degree murder after Baltimore County Police say he shot a man in Parkville on Sunday.

Police say Tyrone Vaughan Moss, 28, of the 700 block of E. 21st St., caused a disturbance at a home in the 2700 block of Cold Stream Way in Parkville just after 6 a.m.

Moss shot the victim in the lower body before fleeing, but he was located “shortly after,” police said Tuesday night.

The victim was transported to a hospital for surgery and is in stable condition, according to law enforcement.

Moss is facing charges of attempted murder, first-degree assault, possessing a loaded handgun on his person, and using a firearm to commit a felony. He is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center awaiting a bail review.

He did not have an attorney listed in online court records as of Tuesday night.
