East Brunswick cyclist struck and killed at Old Bridge Turnpike and Milltown Road

EAST BRUNSWICK – A 64-year-old South River man was killed Tuesday morning when he was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle.

The cyclist, Luis H. Loaiza-Cañas, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said, after they responded around 5:49 a.m. to the crash at the intersection of Old Bridge Turnpike and Milltown Road.

No further information is being released at this time, and the investigation is being conducted by East Brunswick Patrolman Michael McGlynn.
