East Hartford man seriously injured in Manchester motorcycle accident

Jun. 12—MANCHESTER — A 57-year-old male motorcyclist from East Hartford was seriously injured during a motor vehicle accident Friday evening.

Emergency personnel was dispatched around 5:12 p.m. to the area of East Center and Walker streets for a reported motor vehicle accident with serious injuries. The incident involved a motorcycle and a motor vehicle.

A motorcyclist from East Hartford was injured and transported to Hartford Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 26-year-old woman from Manchester, was uninjured.

This incident is currently under investigation by the Manchester Police Department Traffic Unit. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has additional information should contact Officer Jonathan Sargolini at 860-645-5560.
