EAST JORDAN —  The East Jordan Area Chamber of Commerce has officially proclaimed the week of March 13-17 as the 2nd Annual Community Spirit Week.

Chamber staff members Shannon Fender and Mary Faculak launched this event last year, and they said area schools and businesses had such fun and success with the themed days that they are making it an annual event.

Everyone is invited to participate throughout the area. The East Jordan Area Chamber of Commerce encourages participants to post photos of teams, classes or crews on Facebook or send them to the chamber at info@ejchamber.org.

2023 Community Spirit Week schedule:

  • Monday, March 13 – Sports Day

  • Tuesday, March 14 – Beach Day

  • Wednesday, March 15 – Cowboy/Cowgirl Day

  • Thursday, March 16 – America Day

  • Friday, March 17 – St. Paddy’s Day
