East Wilkes dumps Spartans
Dec. 21—RONDA — Larry Breeden, Holden Fulcher and Kevin Pereira each captured pins on Tuesday, but South Caldwell's wrestling team was defeated at East Wilkes 56-24.
Breeden registered his takedown at 160 pounds. Pereira did the same at 285, as did Fulcher at 120.
Alex Engle was awarded a forfeit (145). East Wilkes was the beneficiary of three forfeits (106, 170, 220).
South's Alayna Keaten was pinned (126). So were teammates Kaleb Martin (138), Nathan Parker (152), Talan Beard (182) and Williams Suddreth (195).
The Spartans' Cooper Adams dropped a technical fall (132). LaShaun Going lost by decision (113).
