EastEnders airs cliffhanger for Amy Mitchell

EastEnders has aired a mystery cliffhanger for Amy Mitchell.
Thursday's (October 20) episode followed up from scenes earlier this week where Amy was planning to sleep with boyfriend Denzel.
The two ultimately decided to take their relationship more gradually, but Amy later led Nugget to believe that she had in fact had sex.

Her decision had unintended consequences when a rumour started being spread around the school about the couple. Amy was also facing backlash from dad Jack about turning him in for attacking Denzel.
While Denise convinced Jack to let her off restriction, Amy still overheard her dad complaining: "It's because of her my job's on the line."
The Foxes and the Danes all got together with Jack and Amy at the Vic, where Denzel apologised to Jack for trying to blackmail him with the video of Sam trying to kiss him.
When Amy confronted Denzel to see if he'd told everyone they'd slept together, Howie pulled him away before she could get any answers.

Viewers followed Amy home by herself where she quietly closed and locked her bedroom door, after viewers had already seen a smashed window in her bathroom. The soap later cut back to Amy sitting alone on the couch as Denise came home.
Denise could sense something was wrong and asked a few times whether Amy wanted to talk, but the teen only nodded "no" without saying a word.
Viewers can expect this storyline to continue as we learn more about what Amy is hiding.
