EastEnders airs huge discovery after Avery Baker death

EastEnders has revealed a shocking discovery following Avery Baker's death.
Mitch Baker's brother — and the father of newcomers Felix and Finlay Baker — recently passed away in tragic scenes, after it was revealed that he'd been battling terminal cancer.
Avery had turned up in the Square splashing cash shortly before his passing, making brother Mitch and the entire Baker-Taylor clan believe he still had a sizeable fortune.
Tuesday's episode saw the family struggling to come to terms with Avery's death as they'd had so little time to process that he'd even had a terminal illness.
Karen encouraged Mitch to actively support Felix and Finlay through this period of grief over the loss of their father.
Uncle Mitch took his nephews to Walford East to discuss the plan for Avery's funeral, where they calculated exactly how much expensive it was going to be.
Mitch assured his nephews that Avery's fortune would come in handy during this difficult time to alleviate the financial burden.
However, nothing could be further from the truth! When Mitch joined Karen at the Vic later on, she shared a note from Avery that she'd found.
In the note, Avery confessed that he'd actually lost his entire fortune — he'd died without a penny to his name. Mitch felt horrible about having to tell his nephews they'd have nothing coming to them.
"He was skint," Mitch told Karen.
Even worse, Mitch grimaced seeing Felix's plans to book the cast of The Lion King musical to sing at the funeral. Will Mitch be able to tell his nephews the truth about Avery's finances?
