EastEnders spoilers follow.

Chelsea Fox will receive an alarming message from ex-husband Gray Atkins in upcoming EastEnders scenes.

Gray is currently serving time in prison for the murder of his wife Chantelle Atkins as well as the killings of Tina Carter and Kush Kazemi, after taking a plea deal last year.

The killer recently got back in touch with Chelsea and the Baker-Taylor family by requesting that his young children visit him in prison.

In upcoming scenes, Chelsea's past with Gray has an impact on her possible romantic future with Ravi Gulati — who has been on the outs with Chelsea after admitting to trying to blackmail her mum Denise.

Chelsea will be distracted with another letter from Gray at the same time as Whitney Dean is planning a big housewarming party for Zack Hudson.

She is in no mood for any of Ravi's attempts to reconcile, so she sets him straight that there is no chance for the couple to get back together.

Ravi refuses to give up, so he secures an invite to Zack's party and chats up partygoer Daisy as a way to get Chelsea's attention. His petty attempts fail, as Chelsea refuses to rise to the bait.

Instead, Chelsea intervenes to sabotage Ravi's plans with Daisy in order to teach him a lesson. Later, both Ravi and Chelsea think seriously about whether there's a real chance to reconcile.

Chelsea can't shake Ravi's dirty deeds from the past, especially since her prior relationship with Gray nearly cost her her life. Is there really a way forward for Chelsea and Ravi?

These scenes will air next week.

EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
