EastEnders confirms new direction for Keanu Taylor

EastEnders has confirmed a new direction for Keanu Taylor, as Sharon Watts buys The Arches to set him up with a business.
The show has previously teased that the garage would change hands in filming pictures related to Lola Pearce's upcoming funeral scenes, with the site name altered to Taylor's Autos.
In the new scenes set to air next week, Phil Mitchell is unimpressed to learn that Ben plans to sell The Arches to Sharon, though Ben is hellbent on securing the deal.

Phil decides to confront Sharon to find out what's going on, and rages when she tells him she plans to set Keanu up with a business.
However, Keanu himself is also stunned when he learns that Sharon has bought The Arches for him, and later Phil makes his discomfort worse in The Vic with some snide remarks, leading Keanu to head out for some fresh air.
Keanu later admits he's finding Sharon supporting him difficult, and that it should be the other way around, though Sharon tells him to leave his pride at the door and take The Arches opportunity with both hands.

Yet Sharon begins to worry about Keanu's ability to run a business while Phil continues to stir the pot, and she decides to confide in Kathy Beale, who suggests she have faith in her fiancé.
Sharon annoys Keanu when she hires Reiss Colwell to look after the books so he can focus on cars, though they continue to clash.
Things get worse when Sonia Fowler and Reiss invite themselves over for the evening, leaving the couple playing host reluctantly.
