Jack Branning is hiding a guilty secret in EastEnders, as he continues his affair with Stacey Slater while his wife Denise struggles following what happened at Christmas.

In photos from the episode, which is already available to watch on BBC iPlayer, Jack is seen kissing Stacey.

Jack wakes up having secretly spent the night at Stacey's house, following Denise's decision to walk out of court just before baby Charli's guardianship hearing.

Jack is also unaware that his wife is really struggling following the events in the Vic at Christmas.

Jack had a one-night stand with Stacey before Christmas and has been fighting his feelings for her ever since – recently giving into temptation again.

After they end up in bed together again, Jack assures Stacey this won't be a one-time thing.

Meanwhile, Denise is struggling with the continued fallout from Keanu Taylor's murder.

Denise was present, along with Kathy, Stacey and Suki, as Linda Carter fatally stabbed Keanu while he attempted to strangle Sharon. Denise also hit Nish over the head with a bottle to protect Suki just minutes before Keanu arrived.

With her marriage to Jack on the rocks, could Denise be about to reveal the truth to even more people?

Elsewhere, Walford is set to be rocked further by Karen Taylor's return. She is back on the Square searching for Keanu – and immediately clashes with Phil Mitchell.

Karen fled Walford after taking the blame for her grandson Albie's kidnapping.
