Both men are surprised to see each other. Callum understandably wants to know why Ben has come to the precinct, but will his husband finally share what he's been through?

These scenes will be airing in EastEnders on Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One. The episode, as well as all those for this week, are also currently available to stream on BBC iPlayer.

It's been a hugely emotional week for the Mitchells, as Ben's dad Phil was forced to get involved when sister Sam's attempt to make up with him went completely off the rails.

Sam had teamed up with Zack Hudson to abduct Lewis so Phil could have his revenge – only for Lewis to escape the boot of their career with a loaded gun.

It finally came down to Ben confronting Lewis with a gun of his own. While Ben threatened to shoot his rapist, he instead forced him to confess that their sexual encounter was not consensual.

Ben later scared off Lewis with a warning shot, before confiding in Phil that he's ready to report Lewis to police for the rape. Ben has yet to open up to Callum about being assaulted, though he'll have his chance in Thursday's episode.
