EastEnders to revisit Anna and Bobby romance as Cindy meddles

EastEnders is set to revisit Anna Knight and Bobby Beale's romance as Cindy's meddling threatens to come between them.
Fans of the soap will remember that back in the summer, Anna and Bobby had a very brief relationship. Their romance was cut short after Anna gave into temptation and had a one-night stand with Bobby's best friend, Freddie Slater, which was exposed by Ian Beale.
In scenes set to air next week on BBC One, Cindy is rattled to learn that Bobby and Anna are going on a date — but is relieved to learn it hasn't gone to plan.
When Ian steps in at the eleventh hour to help the young couple, it becomes clear that Cindy still has some reservations about the pairing.
Cindy tells Bobby he isn't good enough to date her daughter, which horrifies Ian and Peter when they hear her.
Later, Ian attempts to play matchmaker by making a dinner reservation for Anna and Bobby at Walford East, but Bobby is shocked when Cindy arrives at the restaurant to meddle.

Back in October, EastEnders star Molly Rainford, who plays Anna, teased a possible reunion between Bobby and Anna.
"I think Anna realised pretty soon after she arrived that she had feelings for Bobby Beale [Clay Milner Russell]," Rainford said.
"But it's a hard situation to navigate when you've got someone who's part of your family, but not your family. It would be really cute if they could make a go of things."
Rainford also opened up about Anna's fling with Freddie, saying: "Freddie is the obvious guy for her to go for, but maybe the underdog will surprise her in the end!"
EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
