EastEnders has revealed the aftermath of the shocking return of Denise's murderer ex-husband Lucas.

During Wednesday (January 31)'s episode, fans saw Diane Parish's character make the surprising decision to visit Lucas in prison.

Lucas, played by Don Gilet, then began questioning his ex about exactly what she was doing there. As fans will know, the two have a rocky past as Lucas is a serial murderer who once held Denise prisoner.

Now though, we're getting a first look at their talk.

We now know that Denise decided to sit down with Lucas in an attempt to get some clarity for herself on the fatal events of Christmas Day.

As one of The Six, Denise has been struggling to come to terms with Keanu's murder and has been pushing her family, including her husband Jack (who's fallen back into the arms of Stacey), away.

While fans will have to tune in to the episode to see exactly what Denise and Lucas have to say to one another, we do know things aren't about to get any easier for Denise anytime soon.

Keanu's mum Karen Taylor will soon be returning to The Square in search of her son. Of course, The Six (also made up of Stacey, Linda, Suki, Kathy, and Sharon) will all be rattled by her return... especially when she starts asking questions about what happened on Christmas Day.

Right now, Karen has no idea that Linda stabbed Keanu in The Vic and he's been dead for weeks, with the women then working together to dispose of his body.
