EastEnders has revealed new details on Karen Taylor's return to Walford.
Karen left the show towards the end of last year, but Lorraine Stanley is reprising the role for next week's episodes.
Karen's reappearance will coincide with the reopening of the cafe, and will pose a big new threat to The Six, who have buried her son Keanu in there.
Viewers know that Linda Carter killed Keanu in self-defence on Christmas Day and joined forces with Sharon, Suki, Denise, Stacey and Kathy to cover up the crime.
The women are hopeful that their efforts have paid off, but Karen's unexpected return could threaten to change all that.
Karen will initially cause a stir at the café as she clashes with Nish, who is giving her daughter Bernie a hard time.
Nish berates Bernie when she accidentally plays an old voice note from Keanu, but they are interrupted by Karen.
Things soon go from bad to worse when Phil arrives and demands the £50k she took from him.
As the week continues, Karen becomes determined to get some answers about Christmas, but Kathy and Stacey team up to convince her of their version of events.
Karen then has another huge run in with Phil when she refuses to pay up.
She unnerves Phil by twisting the knife about Nish and Kat’s blossoming relationship, implying that Phil’s Walford empire is slipping away.
Karen later turns up at The Vic and demands an audience with Linda over the events of Christmas.
Worried that Karen is a threat to their freedom, Kathy decides to call the police to report Karen for Albie’s kidnapping.
Phil later decides to seek advice from Kathy about Karen. Will Karen end up regretting ever returning to Walford?
EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
