EastEnders star expects changes for Louise Mitchell as pregnancy story continues
EastEnders star Tilly Keeper expects big changes for Louise Mitchell, as her pregnancy story develops.
Recently, Louise discovered that she was pregnant with Keanu Taylor's (Danny Walters) child. She originally decided to have the pregnancy terminated, but eventually changed her mind.
Speaking to The Sun, Keeper said the storyline has given a chance for Louise to mature as a character.
"It's been a really lovely storyline to get my teeth into. I think it's really going to help develop the character, which is something I'm really excited about," she explained.
"I really wanted Louise to mature and claim responsibility for her actions.
"I think a pregnancy storyline is the best way for that to happen. The girl's got to have a wake-up call sometime that the world doesn't revolve around her, and bringing another little human into the world is going to do the trick."
Louise isn't the only Mitchell who is pregnant with Keanu's child. Sharon (Letitia Dean) discovered this month that she too is expecting.
As a reminder, EastEnders is not on air tonight as a result of the FIFA Women's World Cup, with England playing Argentina. But the BBC soap did air twice last night (June 13) at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
EastEnders continues on Monday, June 17 at 8pm on BBC One.
