Easter 2023: Brunch and dinner specials, takeout or dine-in, at Milwaukee-area restaurants

Easter is April 9, and restaurants are offering plenty of hearty options to go with the day's candy.

Some are dine-in with reservations, some are carryout with pre-orders, and some have both. Here is a list of area restaurants offering Easter brunch, lunch and dinner specials:

Alioto’s Restaurant

Dine-in from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Easter Sunday. Menu features roast turkey ($27); a 9 ounce filet mignon ($39); tenderloin tips ($27); roast young duckling ($32); baked ham ($27); and pasta primavera ($26). Apple Holler

Holiday Meal Packages are available as individual, or as family size serving four to six people. Place orders by noon March 31 for pickup from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 6-8, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 9 at 5006 S. Sylvania Ave., Sturtevant. The apple cider glazed ham dinner ($34.95 individual; $169.95 family), turkey dinner ($38.95 individual; $179.95 family), and the prime roast beef dinner ($43.95 individual; $199.95 family), all feature mashed potatoes and gravy, honey glazed carrots, apple-bread stuffing, cranberry orange relish, mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole, dinner rolls and apple butter, apple pie, and Apple Holler apple cider. The Bartolotta Restaurants

The restaurant group will offer three-course Easter brunch menus April 9 at all of its restaurant locations, and a brunch buffet at the Italian Community Center and The Grain Exchange.

Bartolotta Catering & Events will host a brunch buffet from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Italian Community Center, priced per person at $54.95 for adults, $19.95 for children. The menu includes traditional breakfast items, appetizers, an entrée and carving table, a kids menu and desserts. Bacchus will offer a prix fixe brunch menu for $65 per person from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The menu includes Wagyu steak and eggs, salmon, filet medallions, stuffed french toast and eggs benedict. Lake Park Bistro brunch is $55 per person and will be served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The menu features quiche lorraine, lamb loin, salmon, beef filets, crab and Berkshire ham. A children’s menu is available.

The Grain Exchange will offer a brunch buffet from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $69.95 per adult, and $23.95 per child over two years old. The buffet menu items include dishes such as jumbo shrimp cocktail and Wisconsin artisanal cheese, an omelet station, a carving station with roasted leg of lamb, roasted strip loin, and cider pork loin, a dessert station and a s’mores station.

At the following restaurants, the price is based on the main entrée choice, and a children’s menu is available. Joey Gerard’s brunch menu is available from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and includes entrées such as filet mignon, chicken piccata, smoked salmon benedict, a breakfast burger, mushroom omelet, country fried steak and eggs, or traditional eggs benedict. The Ristorante Bartolotta dal 1993 brunch menu is available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes items such as sea bass, beef filet, chicken breast, eggs benedict, french toast, pasta, or an Italian frittata. The Harbor House will be open for brunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with curbside pickup available. Entrées include eggs breakfast options available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., or seafood and land entrées such as roast lamb, filet mignon, prime rib roast, scallops, lobster tail, or surf and turf combinations. Mr. B’s Steakhouse in Brookfield and Mr. B’s Steakhouse in Mequon offer a brunch menu from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. with items such as steak and eggs, salmon, a seafood omelet, roasted vegetable and quinoa, french toast, or eggs benedict. The Bavarian Bierhaus

An Easter brunch buffet is offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Adults $34.95; children under 12, $14.95. The featured entrees are roasted ham, roast beef, breakfast sausages, broiled cod, grilled chicken, spinach egg bake and french toast. The menu includes sides of bacon, breakfast potatoes, whipped potatoes, scrambled eggs, rice pilaf, bier cheese soup, mixed steamed vegetables, salad bar, fresh fruit, bread and butter, with a pastry and dessert bar. Bonefish Grill

Sunday brunch is served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Special entrées include Grand Marnier french toast sticks with whipped cream, strawberries, bacon and maple syrup; a bacon and cheddar frittata; a caprese frittata with tomatoes and mozzarella fondue, fresh basil and pesto; and a crab and fontina cheese frittata. Entrées include bacon and seasoned breakfast potatoes. The menu also features classic cocktails, espresso martinis, mimosas and shareable pitchers of blackberry red sangria, sparkling mango white sangria, or Parker’s margarita finished with orange juice and Grand Marnier. Bunzel’s Meat Market & Catering

Family Easter Dinners are available by pre-order, with pickup from April 3 through April 8. The small dinner ($64.99), which serves five to six people, and the large dinner ($119.99), which serves 12 to 15 people, include double smoked ham, au gratin potatoes, green bean almondine, fruit fluff and dinner rolls. The individual dinner ($13) includes sliced smoked ham, au gratin potatoes and green beans. The individual meal will be available only in the Grab & Go case; no pre-orders. The Capital Grille

Easter Sunday brunch specials will be served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The brunch menu features lobster frittata with butter poached lobster tails; a 14-ounce New York strip and eggs; an 8-ounce filet mignon with white cheddar hash browns and blueberry bread. A new item on the menu this year is smoked salmon and caviar, which includes Royal Ossetra caviar, fresh cream, blini, served with white cheddar hash browns. Cavas

The Latin restaurant is offering a three-course menu for Easter Brunch with seatings at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The menu includes Mas Papas Bravas made with baked potatoes, scrambled eggs, and chorizo; Sopu de Camarones, a shrimp, beer and cream broth served with a baguette; and Banana dulce de leche, and brandy french toast. Delafield Brewhaus

The Easter brunch buffet is dine-in from 9 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. and priced per person at $32 for adults, and $15 for children ages 5 to 11. The buffet menu includes salads and sides, made to order omelets, french toast, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, with entrees such as carved prime rib, salmon, tenderloin tips, bourbon maple glazed ham, chicken alfredo, mac and cheese, and Mediterranean rice pilaf. Lowlands Group

Easter brunch specials are available April 8 and 9 at all Lowlands’ restaurant locations. Hours for dine-in are from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at all Café Hollander locations, Centraal Grand Café & Tappery and Café Benelux; and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Buckatabon Tavern & Supper Club.

Centraal Grand Café & Tappery will feature a breakfast burrito with chipotle sausage, cheddar fontina cheese blend, scrambled eggs, black bean artichoke spread, cheesy sauce, garlic chile herb relish, cilantro, red onion and potato; and a yogurt bowl with pink dragon fruit yogurt, almond cashew granola, kiwi, strawberries and dried dragon fruit pieces. Café Benelux will serve a smoked salmon English muffin with herbed goat cheese, red onion and bacon, served with breakfast potatoes; and a toast entree with bacon, avocado, sunny side up eggs, basil vin on grilled sourdough, served with a small salad. All Café Hollander locations will serve chorizo breakfast sliders with a sausage patty, scrambled egg, red chili sauce, cheddar cheese, toasted mini brioche buns and breakfast potatoes; and an open-faced PB-BB smorrebrod sandwich of sweet peanut butter spread, fresh banana and strawberries, blackberry compote, chocolate drizzle, maple pepita granola and butter-toasted sourdough. The Buckatabon Tavern & Supper Club brunch specials are a ham and Swiss quiche and hash browns; and braised lamb benedict with shredded lamb, feta spread, tomato slices on an English muffin and a house salad. Lupi & Iris

The restaurant is offering a three-course prix fixe menu on Easter Sunday. Brunch is served from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and priced $50 for adults and $25 for children. Brunch entrées include leg of lamb, beef tenderloin, flank steak, chicken breast, swordfish, sea bass and french toast. Dinner is served from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and costs $75 for adults, $35 for children. Dinner entrées include Dover sole, Italian seafood stew, roasted half chicken, filet mignon, New York strip, and a Southern French chickpea cake with asparagus. Matilda

The bakehouse offers a Passover and Easter menu available for pickup from 9 a.m. to noon on April 5 or 8. The menu features six plain croissants ($24); and a ham and cheese egg bake ($28), which serves four to six, and is made with croissant dough, ham, leeks and Wisconsin white cheddar. Sides include a family size orange spiced monkey bread ($18) or eight dinner rolls ($16). Desserts include a package of 10 coconut macaroons ($14); a bag of 15 dark chocolate truffles ($12); or Matilda’s 9-inch carrot cake or lemon strawberry cheesecake, for $48 each, or the Chocolate Entrement, a flourless cake, for $52. MOTOR Bar & Restaurant

The restaurant on the Harley-Davidson Museum campus will offer brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 9. Entrées include bacon avocado toast, beef brisket breakfast burrito, steak and eggs, country biscuits and gravy, and the Hog Wild Breakfast Bowl, featuring breakfast potatoes, eggs, house smoked beef brisket, pork shoulder and diced hot link sausage and buttermilk biscuit. The Little Trikes Breakfast for kids includes pancakes, eggs, bacon and fruit served on a keepsake MOTOR flying disc. Muskego Lakes Country Club

The banquet facility will offer Easter Brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at $34.95 for adults; $16.95 for children ages 6 to 12; and $9.95 ages 3 to 5. The buffet features breakfast and dessert stations, chef carved meats, omelets made to order, cold sides, vegetables, assorted breads and a potato bar. Old Town Serbian Gourmet Restaurant

The European-style restaurant will be open for Easter dining from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with pre-order only carryout dinners available for pickup. A brunch menu with Easter specials will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with Easter specials and the full menu available from 1 to 5 p.m. The specials are a traditional Easter Ham served with potato purée and spring vegetables; braised spring lamb served with a Serbian style potato, sauerkraut and a potato dumpling; and rack of lamb served with sautéed spring herbs, a burgundy wine sauce and wild mushrooms. The Packing House

The restaurant is offering a traditional Easter ham dinner and its full sit-down dinner menu from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The dine-in ham dinner is $33.99 for adults, $14.99 for children under 10, and includes house-baked honey ham with a cherry glaze, served with parsley boiled red potatoes and green beans. The Easter ham dinner can also be ordered at the drive-through window from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for $25, cash only, with no pre-order necessary. Call for dining reservations: (414) 483-5054. 900 E. The Pfister

The hotel at 424 E. Wisconsin Ave. offers an Easter brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the grand ballroom, with a visit by the Easter bunny. The buffet features breads and salads, cheeses and fruit, and food stations with made-to-order omelets, buttermilk and blueberry pancakes, pasta to order, carved prime rib and bone-in Virginia ham. The brunch entrées include blintzes, eggs benedict, hickory bacon, sausage links, salmon florentine, chicken tagine, roasted duck breast, and wild mushroom risotto. Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel

The hotel at 139 E. Kilbourn Ave. will host Bubbles & Brunch at Giggly from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 8 and April 9. Breakfast plates include grains and cereals, waffles, ham and cheese, fried chicken, shrimp and grits, a classic big boy burger, omelets, egg dishes and additional sides of meat, fruit and coffee cake. Sabrosa Cafe & Gallery

The breakfast and lunch restaurant offers a three-course prix fixe Easter Brunch menu. $45 per person; $20 for children under 12. The first course offers a choice of deviled eggs, avocado toast, french toast or a waffle. The main entrees include choice of brown sugar and bourbon glazed ham, spring vegetable galette, ribeye hash and eggs, or crab cake benedict. Dessert is included, as is mimosa or orange juice. Saz’s State House

A special Easter Sunday brunch, in addition to the regular menu, will be served from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The menu includes chicken fried steak and eggs served with a buttermilk biscuit and breakfast potatoes ($25); chocolate and cherry stuffed french toast ($16); berry waffles ($16); Parmesan leek quiche ($18); and biscuits and gravy ($12). The Kids brunch menu features a pearled sugar waffle ($8) or scrambled eggs breakfast ($8). Specialty cocktails will be available, including a berry mimosa ($7) and cucumber melon mule ($9). Menu includes an asparagus frittata ($13), scalloped potatoes and ham ($9), red velvet pancakes ($8), hash brown cakes ($5), pulled smoked ham ($23), broccoli and cheddar egg strata ($12), bacon and cheese egg strata ($14), pork sausage ($9), turkey sausage ($10), fresh fruit medley ($7), and french macarons ($12). Tre Rivali

The Mediterranean restaurant offers an Easter buffet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Brunch starts with an assortment of pastries, deviled eggs, a smoked salmon board, and quiche, followed by breakfast entrees of brioche French toast bread pudding, eggs benedict, and waffles. Executive Chef Brian Cripps will also offer lunch fare such as rigatoni bolognese, honey ham with golden raisin mostarda, and roasted leg of lamb with mint chutney.
