Easter cantata at Garrett UMC

The Garrett United Methodist Church Choir and Friends will present its annual Easter cantata, "O What a Savior" at 7 p.m. April 16, at the Garrett United Methodist Church at 800 Walker St., Garrett.

The choir members are Kerry McQuade, Dana Hetz*, Heidi O'Neil and JoAnn Cross, singing soprano. Deb Yutzey, V.K. Pritts, Charlene Klink, Katey Ritchey, and Cathie Lester will be singing alto. Tenors are Steve Hoyman, the Rev. Dave Klink*, and the Rev. Denton Lester. Basses are Doug Pritts, Mark Pritts and the Rev. Glenn Foster.

Pete Housel and son, Carl, will be in charge of video and audio. Director is Gloria Housel. *Denotes a solo.Some of the songs featured in the cantata are: "Our Great Savior Medley," "Hail Jesus Medley," "Something Beautiful," "Embrace the Cross," "Jesus Paid It All," "He Is Risen!," "O What a Savior," and "That's Why We Praise Him with Alleluia! Alleluia!"

A video will be shown to correspond with the music of the cantata. Refreshments and a time of fellowship will be held after the service.
