A special Easter mass was offered in La Grange Park Sunday for some frontline pandemic heroes.
- Some people began this Easter Sunday by heading to mass.
The seats were almost empty at Alexine Chapel in La Grange Park. It was supposed to be a special mass for National Guard troops who've been giving out vaccines. Unfortunately, for some unknown reason, they just could not make it. So the bishop made the best of it.
ROBERT CASEY: We are reminded, as we gather on this Easter Sunday, where two or three are gathered, God is present in our midst. And whether or not we have the National Guard with us or not, we can pray for them.
