Eastern Brown Snake Found Curled Up in Child's Shoe

A Queensland snake catcher was called to a home in Buderim after an eastern brown snake was found curled up inside a child’s shoe.

This footage, posted on Facebook on December 14, shows snake catcher Stuart McKenzie reaching into the cupboard to remove the shoe with the snake inside.

“We were called to Buderim this afternoon for a snake on the move in a family’s [living room]. The snake was only looking for somewhere to hide and ended up curling up inside the kid’s Croc shoe in the cupboard. So glad we were able to find the snake,” McKenzie said.
