Eastern Lake County Chamber of Commerce organizing Earth Day event

Mar. 31—The public is invited to join the Eastern Lake County Chamber of Commerce and celebrate Earth Day with member businesses from 4 to 5:30 p.m. April 20 at Candoren Guest House, 448 Mentor Ave. in Painesville, across the street from Lake Erie College.

New this year, the first 100 attendees can enjoy one free soft taco and chips and salsa from Compadres Mexican Grill, according to a news release. And attendees can take a chance to win a $100 gift card.

Additional refreshments will be available for purchase from The Bus Stop, and other activities include a bounce house for the kids from Big Dog Bounce and activities and giveaways at chamber member tables., the release stated.

The free event, sponsored by First Federal Lakewood-Concord, Painesville Credit Union, and Vector

Environmental Contracting, will take place outdoors at Candoren rain or shine. Parking is available in the church parking lots on either side of Candoren.

Additional vendor tables are available, first come first serve, and cost $50 for chamber members and $70
