The fare at Ozark Mountain Biscuit Co. already feels like home to owner Bryan Maness.

First as a food truck, and now with its brick-and-mortar space, the restaurant offers up Southern-style fare that recreates the values and memories Maness internalized from dinners made by his grandmother and great-grandmother.

Maness described the organizing concept as "my grandmother’s table with very simple fare, made from scratch with wholesome ingredients" in an interview with the Tribune last year.

Now Ozark Mountain Biscuit is taking that shared-table concept a bit further, introducing the Sunday Supper Club. Whether dining with born or chosen family, the experience promises "a meal just like Mom used to make," according to the restaurant's website. The restaurant announced the family-style deal on social media just after the New Year's holiday.

For $65, diners can enjoy a whole, eight-piece fried chicken; mashed potatoes and gravy; green beans; and, of course — the restaurant's X-factor — all-you-can-eat garlic butter biscuits. The offer is suggested for a group of four to six people. The meal is available from 4-9 p.m. Sundays, and is only good for in-house dining, not carry-out.
