It’s Thursday, Chicago.
After being canceled in 2020 and running a scaled-back event in 2021, the Chicago Air and Water Show is back in full force this weekend. You can grab a spot on the beach to watch the show, head to a lakefront restaurant or bar with a good view, or see the spectacle from a skyscraper or a boat on Lake Michigan.
If watching something from the comfort of your couch sounds more appealing, there’s “She-Hulk,” the latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and “The Princess,” which uses news coverage to tell the story of Princess Diana.
Plus, Chicagoans can now try traditional Laotian dishes such as seen savanh (a dried beef dish) and sai oua (a flavorful pork sausage) from Laos to Your House and grab a Chicago-style thin crust tavern pizza from Kim’s Uncle Pizza, the first dedicated pizzeria by E.F. Pizza.
